Information about ERGO in Windows XP
On February 15th, we installed Windows XP Professional on a test machine. Ergo 3
was downloaded
and installed, and ran without difficulty using the R8B on Com2. DSI imported the
ILGRadio data and
linked with the main program, as shown below.
Ergo 4 was downloaded and installed, and ran without difficulty using the R8B and
AR7030. The
ILGRadio data was imported without issue. We also tested the Propagation and Progam
Update
functions, which worked.
Requirements
If you installed either Ergo 3 or 4 prior to January 22, 2002, you should do a
fresh installation by downloading
the latest ergo.zip or ergo4beta.zip. These installation packages contain the
most current
Borland Database Engine (BDE Version 5.1.1) which is recommended for XP compatibility.
This update was posted January 22, 2002. (This will require a reinstallation
of Ergo or Ergo 4 beta. You can
check your BDE version in Control Panel - BDE Administrator - Version
Information...)
